A Four Countries’ Theoretical Comparative Analysis Of National Cultures Through The Lens Of The Hofstede’s Model

Abstract :

This study examines the differences and similarities among the national cultures of four countries: Tunisia, China, Mexico, and the USA. The findings of this study suggest that though geographically far from each other and residing in three different continents, Tunisia, and Mexico resemble each other to a great extent when compared their national cultures based on religious values, social organization, language and Hofstede’s model.? However, China and the US seem similar to each other in relative terms, even if China is known by its collectivism. Such results present cross-cultural opportunities and challenges for business leaders and entrepreneurs who are willing to do business in these countries.
